Let yourself fall in love

Le Mas des Oules will enchant you as soon as you set foot in its patio. The pond and its fountain, the harmonious vegetation, the restored stone work of the former farm buildings – everything here is peaceful and refined. Take a few steps towards the archway and you will find yourself in the flower garden, and then by the large swimming pool in a wooded setting. What’s more, each house offers an on-demand hotel service (breakfast, à la carte dining, concierge service, massages, baby-sitting, shuttles…).Close your eyes, relax, and make yourself at home.

Single person or couple

Culture, sport, gastronomy – why would you need to choose? Depending on your style, the Genêt and Clématite houses are the favorites for single-person or two-person stays.

As a family

Swimming at Le Mas des Oules or in the Gardon gorges, enjoy breakfast on your own private terrace, visit the Haribo museum – here you will find all the makings of an unforgettable holiday. Families of four prefer Agave or Dahlia for their stays, while families of six find Amaryllis and Belle de Nuit ideal.

About us

Lovers of the Gard, its heritage, its gastronomy, and its varied landscapes, Christine and Christophe are the owners of Le Mas des Oules. Christophe is in charge of its management and development, while Christine organizes events there, such as art exhibitions, dinners, etc.

  • Just Lovely

    We have just returned from a week Les Mas de Oules and it was total heaven. We travelled with our two year old twins and it was ideal for their needs lots of outdoor space and a great pool which is totally contained so none of the obvious worries. It is at the same time a beautiful environment for adults, a glass of wine on the terrace in the evening was just lovely. We would recommend to anyone travelling with young children.

  • A gem - book it quick!

    We stayed here (in the “Clématite” house) in the first week of September with our 4 month old baby, having booked before she was born on the basis of the gorgeous pictures and a couple of very friendly emails with the new French owners. We knew that the Mas itself was going to be lovely from the previous reviews and the photos, but when we arrived we were blown away – the place is stunning, with each of the houses done out in cool, chic style – a relaxing palette of whites and greys with seriously stylish touches added by the owners (lamps, wall hangings etc). The courtyard is fragrant and partially shaded, and the houses feel very private – you never get the sense there are loads of other people staying, even when it’s full. The grounds are gorgeous too – fantastic pool, lovely lawn (perfect for relaxing under the shade of an olive tree) and even a place to play pétanque.

    C-Bar, the wine bar that opens on the terrasse at the weekend, boasts amazing views of the layered hills of the Cévennes, wines are carefully chosen and unusual (ask Christophe for his recommendations) and the plates of cheeses and hams are delicious, with fantastic tomatoes fresh from Christine’s veg patch.

    The thing that really elevates the Mas des Oules above just being a supremely elegant place to while away a week or two, however, is the owners. Christophe and Christine are just utterly lovely people – warm, friendly and incredibly genuine, they are always around for a chat if you fancy one but are never intrusive, and truly make it feel as if you’re staying among friends. They were totally charming with our little one too (lots of upmarket places can be a bit snotty about babies, not so here.) We were very sad to leave, and selfishly, we’d quite like no one to know about the Mas des Oules so there will always be space for us, but Christophe and Christine deserve every success. We hope to come back as soon as possible. Merci infiniment!
